Hi totalrecall:. Be nice if Naomh Conaill could do it alright, be a great boost for Donegal club football. Listening to G Mc Daid on radio today, reckons N Conaill will destroy Kilcoo on both kickouts, will be their easiest game yet with victory by 5-6 pts and maybe even double digits. Mc Daid is either a genius or is in cuckoo land. We will know tomorrow evening.

Based on the semi finals he could be right. However I am sure this is not lost on Mickey Moran who is a shrewd operator and will be well aware of this and will try put a plan into place. Anyways best of luck to NC hope they do the business.

Congrats to all connected with NC on what was an excellent Donegal championship campaign followed by the deep run in Ulster. They can have no complaints today as I thought Kilcoo were the much better side and the final score line flattered NC. Took them 40 mins to really show their true colours. I could not believe how open they were at the back especially in those first 40 mins which was very uncharacteristic. Kilcoo also badly exposed some of the older legs in the NC team today. NC really struggled to contain the Brannigans and Laverty inside. It was clear from early on that Eugene Brannigan was being very influential and needed closer attention than what he got. However despite this Kilcoo kept on opening the door but the decision making of some of the NC players in those final crucial minutes let them down. Plus they went to the well far too often with the hail Mary ploy which obviously had some success ultimately proved unsuccessful as some of those could have been converted to the couple of points they lost by. Congratulations to Kilcoo on a not before time Ulster title. Hopefully they can represent the province well. Unlike NC they were patient in possession and exploited the gaps when they came. They looked like the fresher team today and seemed lighter on their feet.

Hat tip to you sir. You were proved right in some respects. Despite the final scoreline it probably flattered NC a bit. However they kept opening the door for NC just lucky for them NC kept shutting it on themselves.

He was in cuckoo land alright, Glenties were lucky to get them goals, second one especially, best team won no doubt about it and the margin flattered Glenties, hope KIlcoo can win the All Ireland now.

A bit immature. He was an analyst on Tg4 today and then tweets that.

Shocking stuff from a current Gaothdobhair player and a pundit on tv. Showing his true colours.

Hard luck NC! Nearly sure A Thompson brought it back to a 1 pt game so they were still there ! Anything could of happened! On Cassidy's tweet as he said tweets are expressed on his own opinions ! At the end of the day he's still a club player! Anyway makes next year championship all the better! Looking forward to it all ready !

I still don't know what he said, don't know why people bother with it, all I ever read about twitter is some controversy over what someone said.
wonder will Cass stick around for another year? I'd say Gaoth Dobhair will look forward to getting another crack at Glenties.

Hi SouthOfTheGap: Was it an All Ireland medal he was talking about.

He can declare all he wants that his tweets are his own opinion, but it ceryainly does not make them right. As a Donegal man who gave my support wholeheartedly to Gaoth Dobhair last year, I am very disappointed with his jibe. And for a man that makes a living out of his media work (tg4, Gaelic Life, Instagram/Facebook to promte himself), he should be more careful, sure wasn't it his media work that cost him and All Ireland medal.

Shows a serious lack of class of Cass's part. Not hard to see why he was dropped from 2012. He will always regret not being part of that success.

Kilcoo deserved it on the day but Naomh Conaill still had a very good campaign and it can only be good having a Donegal team getting to an ulster final. Hopefully we see more of it in future. Unlike Cassidy, the rest of Donegal were behind them.

No doubting Cassidy's quality as a player but that is about it. Seen the tweet after reading about it here and lacks class. Nothing new anyways every chance he gets he is sounding off about how he regrets not having not given more time to his club over the county. While maybe that is true I always find it comes across as particularly sour.
