Some big results for Castlegar mullagh turloughmore and good come backs from cappy and gort. Now for the big break until Galway are finished and hopefully reach another all Ireland. Great to see Joe Cooney back think he scored 1 02 yesterday. Any other stand out players this weekend,?

Hopefully your right. I haven't heard this officially yet though. madness that there are no games on these weekends. Perfect hurling conditions for the very brightest potential can shine.

Games are back on 17th/18th with the football back the week before. Rounds will be played every two weeks.

I admire Joe as a hurler but why is he is on about so called critics again.

Intercounty sport is for adults. Critics will always have their say. Ignore them. In some cases they have a point but win medals and you'll answer them.
I'm amazed at how think skinned county managers and players are. Yet we are told these people have character, resilience, leaders with their clubs and in their communities.

Just because you are good at Hurling or Football or management doesn't mean you have a thick skin. These guys give over their lives practically to play for the County, yes there are rewards but we should just support them.

Joe has taken loads of criticism from inside the County as well as outside, I think there is an element of siege mentality with him and I don't blame him.

But surely if a player like Joe gets injured the main issue is the injury and trying to get back to playing not whether some journalist reports it inaccurately. I mean it's not really something to be concerned about. He previously mentioned so called critics too.

More broadly it constantly comes up with players and managers. Even tipp were at it regarding the limerick match. What did they expect, they were poor v Limerick.

All seems a bit juvenile to me. Agree it suits the siege mentality stuff.
