Down Senior Hurlers 2019

Well said Paudie I agree with everything you say but remember you have slagged off individuals on social media in the past and your comments hurt too.

It would be nice if the very small Down hurling community could treat each other with respect.

While I have you, what was the reasoning behind moving the Derry match to Portaferry? (It's been a bit of a bee in my bonnet)"
Totally agree with this point on moving the game away from McKenna Park.
Like it or not, Down play their best hurling at Ballycran and always have done.
So games should be kept there and maybe the county board could actually invest a bit of money into the facilities....though I doubt that would happen

This Down team are too small for the tight confines of Ballycran and I'm from Ballycran.

The right decision was made, the performance in Portaferry thereafter has nothing to do with the pitch.

Another good post there, 5 more mins and ports would have been beat, we will have to ask the gaa to play 35 mins in the second half of league games. Ha ha ha ha ha. Just shows a load of drunk men can beat Rossa. Your a funny man. Ha ha ha.

Unsure of full team but I did see a photo of Conor Woods wearing number 6.

Interesting, I've always rated woodsy at 6, definitely more suited there than in the half forward.

We (Ballycran) can manage without him in defence as our need is greater in the forwards.

Down need a dominant centre back and he will fit that bill.
