Former Kerry U20 and minor goalkeeper Devon Burns will play his club football in Dublin this year after his transfer to three-in-a-row SFC champions Kilmacud Crokes was approved.

The Dublin based garda was a standout underage talent for the Kingdom having been named 2022 U20 Munster Footballer of the Year and selected on the 2019 Electric Ireland Minor Football Team of the Year.

Burns' move represents another blow to his home club Na Gaeil who have already lost Jack Barry for 2024 as the Kerry All-Ireland winning midfielder has gone travelling.
