Reigning champions Killoe and 2022 winners Colmcille will face off in the first round of the Longford SFC for the second year in-a-row.

The big guns were pitted against one another when the draws for the 2024 Longford GAA Championships took place on Monday night. They are joined in Group 1 by Rathcline, newly-promoted Kenagh, St Mary’s Granard and Mostrim, while last year’s runners-up Clonguish are in Group 2 along with Dromard, Longford Slashers, Carrickedmond, Abbeylara and Mulllinalaghta.

The race for the Connolly Cup commences on the week ending July 21 and culminates in the county final on Sunday, October 13.
