Early results may not be a great pointer for later in the year, but Tara, Clarets and Thomas McCurtains looking strong already.

Eire Og for me, with London GAA legend Jimmy Holly at the helm there is no limit to where this team can go

Eire Og big disappointment so far with their results. Clarets and Tara the front runners so far.

I think it's very early in the year to predict anything. Clarets and Taras by far the strongest especially when it comes to championship. Eire Og have been disappointing so far but they'll improve.

Not seen any games recently, what's the standard like this year? Stand outs? London Juniors doing nicely I see.

Can't see anything other than a Clarets & Tara's final.

TCG, Eire Og and Tommy Mc's wont be far away but don't think any of them can win it out.

Eire Og Tara final.

Eire Og should win it.

From what I have seen, TCG done well to win the McArdle cup, a well drilled, young fit team. Don't think they'll have enough to get out of the group though, TMC and Tara's are stronger. Tara's strongest overall and will only improve, Clarets will challenge with TMC and Eire Og reaching semis but not really threatening.

Overall, it's been a relatively disappointing season, lots of walkovers, the army are getting well beaten and lack of fixtures whilst the county juniors play. I thought the whole point of the cup was to provide teams with a run out whilst the juniors are playing in the A.B?

Fixture scheduling by county board has been shocking . Couldn't care less about junior club players.

I still can't understand why a proper fixture list can't be produced at the start of the year - Only sporting competition I've even been involved in across 4 sports that can't seem to do it.

They have a master fixture list done at start of year, but as year goes some games will get moved.

But the master fixture list only tells you which weekend you could have games - They can still get moved and also you don't find out until 5 days before which day of the weekend you are playing and where and when the game will be played. Any other sport I have been involved in has a fixture list at the start of the season telling you which day games will be played and where they will be played. Only thing usually confirmed the week before is the time of the game.

"After being given just three days notice and three weeks later than this fixture was originally scheduled for we will face Tara in the preliminary round of the Mullarkey Cup on Thursday 30th June. This game takes place at Tara's home pitch at Northolt Rugby Club, Cayton Road, Greenford. 7.15pm throw in"

From the Clarets notes this week, says it all really.

New member. I was down at the Dulwich vs Taras match on Sunday. Dulwich looked a decent side with a couple of very good players. Very nice to see them progressing with the few bad years they have had. Their keeper kept them in it with a couple of top class saves and their midfielder scored a late goal to clinch a win. That said I expected more from Taras Dulwich could now come into the shake up.

Their goalkeeper kept them in it at crucial times with a couple of really top class saves and the midfielder clinched it with a nice goal. This victory could put Dulwich in with a chance of getting near the semi finals, which would be nice after a couple of bad years for them. That said, I expected much more from Taras who seemed a bit shocked that they got a game like they did.

I agree with the above poster, I have seen nothing from Taras that showcases their chance of going back up..look like a team that might not even make the semis. Also, In Dulwich's group, Eire Og look poor this year, so could easily be Dulwich & Clarets getting out of that group. Overall, I think it could be Tommy Macs year..need to hold onto their best lads though.

Hear the army didn't even turn up for a championship game Tuesday evening. This will surely be the last year they enter a team. Sad state of affairs.

Four games scheduled for this weekend. Your Thoughts?

Shalloe and Crawley play, which I'd expect Shalloe to win.

Big game in the same group. TMC v TCG - should be interesting, close game predicted, possibly even a draw.

Dulwich and the army, only going to go one way but I do feel the army will field. Good to see Dulwich put on a show recently, could be the surprise package.

Clarets v Murphys, again only going to go one way.
