J.R.B....maybe an EGB team of a few years back would have won handy enough but their current team would hardly strike fear in any side in the county. I think Mary's pushed them tight in the league down in Erdington and expect something similar on Sunday, if not a 'shock'

Even though EGB are missing their best player, they will still beat Marys with plenty to spare.

What is the story with Harrigan? I see he togged for the County side a few weeks ago. Has he not been playing for EGB this year?

I can see Casements struggling a bit on Sunday, I would still expect them to win but maybe not as convincingly as some people may assume. Barnabus and Braghs to win handy enough, the Braghs have improved a bit since the start of the season- still lack that bit of quality.
I would expect Macs V Mitchell to be a close affair, I am bias but can see Macs winning by 2 or 3.
Sidelineman , you are as informative and knowledgeable as ever.

EGB should be good value for money to get the win this weekend. If rumours are true then both the Harrigans are back and few new players to add as reinforcements for younger lads. Well hopefully this is more than the usual bar talk they do, long way to go to reclaim the title of Erdington's premier club from St Chads.

Macs & Mitchells to draw.
EGB to beat Marys comfortably.
Leicester to put up a game to Casements for the first half, but get pounded in the second half.
Barnabas to kick Sons back down to intermediate where they belong.

When is the next senior championship fixture date?

From a Neutral;
I only hope Macs loose this weekend. After that the best of luck to everyone.
Simply put Sundays 'BIG' game is irrelevant as I think it is fair to say that these two will be at the business end of the championship.
Barring a miracle.
I reckon no need going to see a game till then!

On another note: No word of London's performance on here. Well let me say well done….
Added to that, seeing as there has being such negativity towards Irish grown players in Warwickshire circles, do we not agree that London would not have progressed without them? Also how may English born players were on that team/squad?

Sidelineman,

One in the team and another in the squad.

Tony Montana/ Macsfor0,

I see on the GAA website that you've signed a few new lads. Would you expect any of them to start this weekend? Is the Bennett lad a relation of Ossie?

Regards,

Winker ;-)

Winker,

That is a very interesting development indeed. It will be nice to get some clarification indeed.

If Mac have indeed signed players (O suprise!), will the go straight into their Championship team on sunday? Will this devide the (already divided by what I hear) camp? What RESPECT will this show to the players who have trained with them all winter and helped them to one very big loss and alot of wins in the league?

Not unexpected at all I guess?

Congratulations to the county under 16s who have beaten Yorkshire 7-20 to 5-2 to reach the All Britain final next Saturday. They play either North or South London at 2pm at Pairc Na hEireann, with the under 18s playing London afterwards at 3.30pm. Would be great to see a big crowd out supporting the young lads with players from the following clubs on show; St Brendans, Four Masters, Setanta, EGB, Mitchels, Casements, Connollys, Macs, Naomh Padraig and St Barnabas. Will be a hard task for the lads so would be great to get as much support out as possible.

This bit of sun should be good for EGB today. Haz should be well up for this after his warm weather training camp in Ibiza last 2 weeks. If he doesn't play then safe bet the transfer rumours to South Birmingham are true.
