Tipp football management team come from far and wide

January 24, 2020

Tipperary U20 manager David Power

Tipperary football manager David Power has certainly spread his wings when it came to assembling his backroom team.

To say that Power went the length and breadth of the country to source his management team would not be too far off the mark.

Power has brought in ex-Dublin footballer Paddy Christie as coach, along with former Clare footballer Joe Hayes and Donegal duo Charlie McGeever and Mickey McGeehin.

Also part of the backroom team is strength and conditioning coach Robbie Cannon, who hails from Dublin and has worked with Shane Lowry.

Tipperary entertain Down in their opening FL3 clash at Clonmel this Sunday and they must plan without the likes of Liam McGrath, Michael Quinlivan, Josh Keane, Shane O’Connell and Liam Casey.

The Allianz Football and Hurling Leagues are back this weekend and so is the Hogan Stand Match Tracker. Join us on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon for live score and updates from the opening rounds.
