Good win for the Willies they seem to be in tip top shape fair play to them. What has happened to Bornacoola?

Very impressed with Dromahair yesderday! The play a great running game and was impressed with Paddy Mcgowan not for his great fielding but his running was super! The look miles ahead of Balllinamore at this moment in time. A side note the ref from Silgo was excellent yesderday and could show our own refs a thing or two

Manors second team is strong all them lads are looking to play senior football and are training with the first team

Division 2 is hard so is intermediate championship carrigallen are struggling to even stay mid table after going down from division 1

The majority of senior teams wouldn't beat an intermediate team if it was put up to them

Senior football is gone flat in the county

There isn't enough young lads left for it to be competitive and the ones that are left are given no respect

The willies and Allen geals could surprise us this summer and I hope they do

It would be a reactance of the 90s

How come ye didn't score until the 46th minute villa?

Villatown good observation. Paddy is flying at the minute and I can't for the life of me see why he's suddenly out of the boys plans. He is a very mobile player maybe not a county standard "fielder" but with more suitable skills than a lot of others -tall, good athlete, powerful runner, really the modern day footballer. He should be in the team for New York.

Dromahair are definitely motoring with five wins on the bounce which is great going! They're developing into a nice team as they have a lot of good footballers but it is their attack thats making the difference.Possess some of the best forwards in Leitrim and that counts for a lot in club football. They also have one of the best underage setups in the county, so all signs bode well for them developing into a top senior side soon

the CCC seem to have a good grip on fixtures this year so far. Div 1 everyone has 5 rounds played Div 2 have a few outstanding games but they are going to be played b4 the next round as they dont effect county players. only 2 outstanding games in div 3. div 4 final will be played b4 the end of june. the CCC take alot of stick so they should get praise when its due. Although i cant see there being any league games in div 1 or 2 being played in june

Yes Declan was lucky he didn't get a straight red just before half-time he was sent off for two yellows a coming together and he made contact with the face of a Dromahair player! Its out of character for him however! we never where allowed to settle on the ball and where bullied through out.

Villatown am i rattling your cage maxwell was a good player but his time has gone, the way you talk about him you would think drumreilly is a one man team. And after sunday maybe ye are first score on 46 minuets it says a lot.

Far from a one man team! John Mckeon ,James Holohan and Nigel Maguire are equaly as important! Sure take any teams main man out of a team and see what happens! By the hes 30 so not on his last legs by any means!

Yes villa all them lads you mention are 30 or over

One man team sounds like a one man club

By the sounds of it hoolihan had the scoring boots on Sunday 3 off the left and 2 off the right

Against an intermediate team

2 teams to go down and I know who my money's on

Reading The league table its obvious who's going To div2 next year And intermediate championship next years aswell , The following year division 3 And junior a

It happens when clubs Are badly run And a year must be a new record for a club To Go without winning a game

You don't get promoted or win games for chinese whispering about fellow players

Melvin gaels v drumrielly .......... Melvin Gaels
Marys v Aughawillan........... Aughawillan
Mohill v soh ........... Ballinamore
Bornacoola v Kiltubrid .......... Draw

Gortletragh should push on and beat annaduff, Dromhaire are flying and i can see them turning over manor.
Melvin gaels have regrouped and should beat Drumreilly without Maxwell.
Aughawillan are the most improved side in the county and are flying so i can see them getting the better of Carrick.
Mohill and S.o.h will be tight but i can see S.o.h led by mckeown coming out on top, and finally i can see bornacoola and kiltubrid being a scrappy poor game as both sides are on the slide and it is hard to pick a winner.

I was at a game there the other day, , and a young lad was fiersh close to hitting his head off the post,,, them metal posts are fairly solid, im sure a rule could be introduced to have players ware helmets like in hurling, There big strong masculine beauts of males, and have no issue wearing helmets except that rugged strongbow Mullane from Waterford. but he's buff like!
Maybe im wrong but if gaa is to progress this should be brought up at the AGM
