What ever about giving out lads, we need the lads to be as prepared as possible to achieve a massive win over the rossies! There will be plenty of other weeks to play league games! Leitrim is no. 1. Any seem like mohill ballinamore and annaduff are flying, annaduff surprise package this year, should be big game between them and bmore on Saturday evening, if duffs get a result will be massive for their div 1 status!

There should be a Round of games on Sat 27th ... it's 15 days out from the game. Far as I know there can't be a game 14 days or closer to an Inter County fixture.

Shambles if this is the last league match before the Ross game. So much for April being club month, out of interest has any of the county lads being training with their clubs?
I know we need to prepare for the rossies but clubs have to play out games into December every year because of this BS. So after the games this weekend the club players w/o have to train away with no prospect of a game until at least the 19th of may, a full month of good weather and long evenings missed. I'm all in favour of playing without the county lads for a few rounds if it means the club players can get a small bit of their year back.

I completely disagree Blackpuddin club should come first, without clubs county's wouldn't exist. I'd be in favour of playing league games without County players but that won't happen of the Mohill created a fuss last year

Mohill rightly created a fuss, they were going to be down 8 players (Mitchell, Armstrong, Quinn, Canning, Keegan, Flynn, Beirne and Kennedy) meaning that weak clubs who never produce a player would suddenly gain an advantage over the progressive clubs. If rounds were to be played without co players fixtures committee would need to sit down and ensure clubs most effected would play each other and work their way down to teams least effected. Otherwise a team like Mohill would only have 3 of their first 11 and maybe none of injuries, suspensions came into play in these rounds. That is an unfair punishment for clubs that develop county standard player.
But totally agree there should be a round of games the last week of April. It's going to clog up June/July and that is only on the premise that county doesn't go too far in the championship.

There will be a couple of league games played well after this years club championship and if some games are meaningless then they will become void! County players aren't in favor of playing club games without them and Only right. What about the players that get no game time with county then miss games with clubs too, it's a mess of a system that causes too much BS!! April is for clubs and games should be played out, why not play a round of midweek games. County players are only released to clubs on Friday's to train and play on Saturdays. Loads of time for Leitrim to a couple of challenges before the trip to the Hyde.

Big result with Manor demolishing the willies. 6 goals and it could have been more! Willies taking some time to find their feet this year. They'll have to hurry up before it's too late!! SOH with an easy win too 1-18 big score ticking along. Any other results?

I doubt they'll be worrying ... who actually cares about the championship?

Problem the Wilies have is simple a small pick and if they get injuries there in big trouble. The finished near the bottom of the league last year also. Championship is different of course

I know in Cavan they are giving the master plan with dates of all games. Games with county players games without county players and possible games without county players. Everyone gets on with it. Cavan were div1 last year. It's not the end of the world to play a few games workout them.

They don't play division 1 games in Cavan without county players! There is reserve league which is
separate i do believe.

O Heslins and Mohill are teams to beat this year but based on experience you would have to put Mohill down as hot favourites for the major honours in 2019. Manor will struggle around middle and halfback against both clubs and unless Aughawillan remain fairly injury free I cannot see them keeping the high standards of last few years.

Ild definitely swap Ballinaglera for Eslin. Also Leitrim gaels could sneak a few results in division 1. I was impressed with them at the weekend and I see they have 3 of the top guns played already

Forgot completely about Ballinaglera! They will definitely be in there in either Drumkeerins or Eslins expense.

I wouldn't discount Eslin by any means. We are roaring in training. Things are looking good for us!
