Hi M and D. I am not sure what sort of help you are looking for as I could not get on to your site. Some of those clubs are dual clubs.

Abbey Rovers (F) and Castletownroche (H) - Castletwonroche is a village
Gurranebraher (F) and Shandon Rovers (H) - Gurranebraher is an area on the Northside (they have no pitch-play only away games).

Rathluirc Rovers (F) and Charleville (H) - Charleville town-on the edge of the twon, Cork side.
Delaneys (H+F) - Kilbarry, Dublin Hill, Cork. (northside of the city)
St Nicholas (F) and Glen Rovers (H) - Ballincolly Road, Dublin Hill (northside of city)
Knockscovane (F) and Meelin (H) - meelin village
Awbeg Rangers (F) and Buttevant (H) - town of Buttevant.

I haven't published anything yet, so what I'm doing isn't 'out there' as such.

Finding GAA pitches is relatively easy in country areas as there is usually only the one pitch in a village. The City areas such as Cork are more difficult, as there are pitches everywhere, and not being familiar with the area, I don't know who plays where.

In Avondhu and Shandun, there seem to be a lot of sister clubs, ie one for football, and one for hurling. For a lot of them I'm not sure if they have one pitch or two.

While I'm at it, if there are any other significant GAA grounds(ie full size and used) in the county, add them on here. Be they colleges, universites, municipal, council, centres of excellence, second pitches from amalgamated clubs etc.

To use maps to locate pitches for me, use the following:
Northern Ireland: follow this link HERE - pitch in center of box
Rep Ireland: follow this link HERE - cross centered on pitch
Both have double 6 digit grid references, these are what I need.

Map data is finally up online. Due to limitations on the number of placemarks that can be put on the map, counties have been grouped geographically over 10 maps. This is a trial version, and may be changed in the future, as no function for a club finder has been looked at yet.

Divisional groupings were for my own notes only, and not viewable. A Football club has GFC in the name, Hurling club HC and dual clubs name only. Some dual clubs have (H) and (F) included in the name if known by different names for each code. I consider this an ongoing work-in-progress and will make any additions or alterations that are brought to my attention.

Thanks to everyone who helped out along the way. Maps are viewable on the Milford(Limerick) GAA Website HERE

Hi m_the_d, I work for the Irish Sporting Heritage Project. We're compiling a compiling a history of all the sporting sites in the country and the maps you've created have exactly the data were looking for. We were hoping you could share the data you've collected for our database. Please get in touch either here, or via our website www.irishsportingheritage.com

Youghal's pitch was situated in Copperalley Road until recently. New grounds are now in development at Magnier's hill, near St Raphael's hospital.
