Carlow - Hurlers 2017

Good performance and a great match. We should have won in normal time but
fair play to Antrim who came back at the end.

Think we could have made subs a little sooner in second half but team was playing
well so it was a tough call

Hopefully we get back on track next week.

Nothing handed out today one way or another. No reason not to go on and win the competition.

Would like to see E. Nolan in at full back. Ger Coady in the half back line and S.Murphy in forwards as I believe we don't have enough pace up front apart from mouse and JD would be better option at midfield IMO.

Terrible result on Saturday. That game should have been closed out in normal time. The line were far too slow to make changes. Such a pity as we had some great subs to come in and see it out for us.
Mayo will be no push over after running a fancied Kildare team very close. Still a great chance to go all the way in this competition but lessons need to the learned.

On a positive note there were some excellent displays. Paul Doyle, Alfie, Seamus Murphy, Denis Murphy, Chris Nolan all excelled.

Not trying to be negative. Team were a joy to watch at times just a pity. Onwards and upwards.
