Eoin Kelly and John Mullane will return to Waterford senior hurling training tonight.

Passage East clubman Kelly was axed from the panel by manager Michael Ryan at the start of the year due to a perceived lack of fitness but the path has now been cleared for an immediate return.

And De La Salle stalwart Mullane has been taking a well-deserved break from hurling but his services are now badly required.

The double return represents a timely boost for the Decies, who have lost all three of their Division 1A matches to date.

The panel held a two-hour meeting on Monday night to discuss a number of issues, including this weekend's crucial clash with Galway. Tweet
