All games at the home County venues.
The 2 "D2" games will hardly attract 5k between them.
Mayo v Monaghan should bring up to 15k while Armagh/Tyrone will fill Athletic Grounds (capacity 17k?)

Replying To legendzxix:  "I'd agree, with that in mind my predictions are:
Mayo
Clare
Cork
Tyrone

The possibility of Tyrone and Mayo is Qualifier Round 2 awaits the provincial runners-up. The winners of Clare v Meath and Cork v Louth will probably be luckier than provincial runners-up!"
i'd fancy Clare to take out Meath also but it will depend on if they have Keelan Sexton and Cathal O'Connor back from injury.

Tyrone and Mayo would have preferred easier draws but their experience strength and conditioning should see them in the hat for round 2 and no provincial runner up will want to face them.

Cork v Louth probably the hardest game to call. Two sides that will be lucky to avoid the tailteann cup next year

Replying To hyperache:  "Louth seem to have garnered a bit of a hype train under Mickey Harte and I'm yet to be convinced. Yes he's certainly improved them with back to back promotions, but Louth have always been a Division 2/top half of Division 3 team. They go up and down. After a good league campaign, I was looking forward to seeing how they got on against Kildare as it was a great barometer to see where they are at - and they were blown out the door. Westmeath who Louth beat by 2 points in the League put up a better showing against Kildare.

I find it very hard to see how they get a result down in Cork who will be optimistic after showing a bit of fight against Kerry. Yeah Cork are no great shakes at all, watch them play Meath in Navan during the league and they were shocking. But think they'll be good enough to get over Louth.

Agree with you on most of the other games."
Totally agree with you, the rule is there about home teams. What I don't understand is why for such big games the GAA couldn't have had neutral venues. Could easily have been Cork v Derry if results had have went by form. Just glad Tyrone are out of Omagh.

It's looking like Kerry's year.

Tyrone and Armagh paired up, and the other Ulster team paired with Mayo.

What a remarkable series of coincidences.

You're telling me it was going to be Monaghan or Armagh that we're going to stop Kerry?
If you're beaten twice before the quarter finals, it's probably not your year to win Sam.

There will be at least 10k in Ennis. Huge buzz around the county for a day out. If nothing else. Think there was 5k for league game.

Yup, by pairing them up it guarantees at least one ulster team to get through, there's something rotten in Denmark.

It's all a grand conspiracy

MAyo, Tyrone, Monaghan, Armagh, Roscommon and Derry, Donegal and Galway will all be on one side of the draw.

The Dubs and Kerry will have all the handy matches

Who said there was 5K at the league match?

If I recall properly it was announced over the tannoy. If memory serves me right it was 4800 /4700 or something like that. Considering children were free I'd say 5k was reached. Surprisingly as much Meath if not more than clare

There is only one person who said that.

The official attendance given at the game was 1,375 and I thought myself that was being generous.
Our first league game in Navan this year had a good turnout but after that it went through the floor. The last game against Derry was one of the poorest attendances I've seen.

I doubt very much the recent Croke Park humiliation will re-invigorate the Meath support and would be more than surprised to see a gate of 5000 in Ennis the next day.

Why are you clearly lying? Did you think someone wasn't going to pull you up on it?

Louth have done extremely well in a short period of time. I do not rate Kildare, they are a better team than Louth but we missed tow early goals and 2 frees, they went in/over during the League.

I was hoping for Meath in Navan, nothing to lose and I reckon we would of taken you down. Complete mess in Meath.
