Replying To Westmeath213:  "Heslin presumably back from holidays
Tj cox & David whelan both still out injured
Paddy dowdall isn't playing football this year I believe along with Ken Casey .
Sean Flanagan is away with the army"
David Whelan and TJ Cox are back from injury but might not be risked today. Fola, Kevin Regan, Paul Whelehan, and Oisin Hogan are also being eased back into the set up after being away for a good portion of the year so far. Lomans will go from strength to strength as it progresses. Dowdall will be back and Flanagan also come the latter end of the championship.

Good win for Loman's tonight, finished strongly against a very game Garrycastle side. Garrycastle missing Alex Gardiner who's emigrated and likes of Doran Harte and John Gaffey surely on their last legs, Tom O' Halloran missing too, Garrycastle need a victory in two tough remaining games or relegation to section B is on the cards.

They could lose both and still make the 1/4 final. But would be relying on Shamrocks to beat Caulry.

Although it didnt have anything to do with the result as Kinnegad were very good and Caulry were dismal last evening in Rockfordbridge-note-A senior A championship game and no linesman on one side-very poor organisation as the refs have it hard enough and cant see everything.

Two ok games in at the park. Lomans full value for 4 point win always do enough to get into the knock outs then come alive. Moate looked extremely poor only scoring 1 point from play in real relegation trouble now. Expected more from young Forde if he wants to make it as an intercounty forward he needs to be making a better impression when on the likes of Gonoud and Maguire.

Where is Rockfordbridge?

Credit to Milltown who endured a miserable league campaign in division 1 where they lost every game. They also struggled to get a manager after James Davitt quit in February, They've lost Conor Gibney, Joe Halligan, a few retirements also and looked odds on to be relegated to section b in a strong section A. They've now beaten Malachy's and Shandonagh and are nearly through to quarter finals, not quite safe yet from relegation but nearly there. New manager is from Rhode, a relation of Niall McNamee and he's done some job.

Is it head to head or scoring difference if teams finish on pts for 1/4 finals or relegation?

As always , if it's two teams it's h2h. If three then scoring difference.

Is the rule still there that you can't be knocked out of the championship on score difference?

I can remember this saved Garrycastle in 2014 and they went on to win the championship that year

Moate were knocked out on scoring difference last year so must have been changed.

Can't be relegated on head to head or score difference but can be knocked out as far as I know

My understanding is if 3 teams involved it's score difference and two teams it's a playoff. Could be wrong though!!

Another good win St. Mary's Rochfortbridge in section A of intermediate, they've guaranteed themselves a quarter final spot already and one more win should make that a semi final. Shandonagh and Castledaly fighting it out for the other berth with Milltown also in contention. Tubberclair and Ballymore seem to be certs to qualify for quarter finals from section B with three wins each, Kilbeggan looking likely to be relegated.

Some big wins at senior which were a lot bigger than to be expected, the downs kinnegad and tyrellspass and winning handy, killucan with a big win, be interesting to see which 2 come out of that group.
The Bridge look like there going very well a young fit organised team with 2 or 3 good scoring forwards and the switch with Gorman in goals could go all the way. Miltownpass need two big wins and hope results go there way or there gone.
Ballymore with a huge win over neighbours Maryland who are going very poorly, tubberclare comfortable win over cfcw.
