Young shane corcorcan from malacys will be soon a good replacement for sam duncan

Shane Corcoran is a fine prospect but he's a wing forward or corner forward, never plays midfield for Malachy's,

10 point win for Lomans. I think my statement was right! Lomans far better on paper and on the pitch.

Longford football in bad place

Tough game against Naas next time out but this Lomans team I think are on par with them and have every chance to get to the final

Killoe were significantly worse than when they visited Cusack Park three years ago. The Longford club championship must be at its lowest ebb in years, Killoe would struggle to compete in section A of the Westmeath championship, two McCartans, Tooler, John H and Shane D allowed to do what they wanted and match was over after 15 minutes. Loman's impressive but totally untested, hard to see Luke staying with Killoe.

Naas have the hurling quarter final next weekend.
Don't know if they have many dual players

StLomans we're a joy to watch today there clinical attacking play was brilliant , suspect defensively at times but when your notching up a score line of 1-20 you'll win most football matches you play , forward line we're brilliant , I expected a tighter affair but killoe we're blown away inside 15 minutes , im excited to see the semi final , could we have a Westmeath team in a Leinster club final for the 2nd year running

Naas will be favourites but if Lomans bring their A game I think they have every chance of causing an upset. Wasn't at the game in Longford today but it sounds like Killoe couldn't live with their forwards or didn't have a plan for them. Not easy as they have 6 top notch attackers plus a strong bench. Lomans now have 2 wins in Leinster with Naas having a surprisingly comfortable win over Summerhill. Naas will be gunning for another shot at Crokes so if they take the eye off the ball in Mullingar they will pay the price.

Could be very wrong but I think they're might be only 2 or 3 dual players in the club

Your statement was 100% not right. you stated that if Lomans don't reach a leinster final it will be an 'embarrassment'

And now you come out with 'Tough game next week and they have every chance of making a final'

Make up your mind!!

Lomans are a serious team and a joy to watch, I honestly thought Killoe had a chance, but clearly a massive gap between senior clubs at the moment. sad to see.

Leinster Club SFC Fixtures

Semifinals:
St Lomans v Naas, 19-Nov, 1.30pm, TEG Cusack Park
St Mary's Ardee v Kilmacud Crokes, 19-Nov, 1.30pm, Louth Venue TBC

Final, 2-Dec, 2.15pm, Croke Park

Verdict:
Killoe were weak, St Lomans took them apart in the first half. Naas will be no pushover. I hope that we see a second Leinster Club final in a row featuring a Westmeath Club, following the exploits of The Downs last year. However I think this is where the journey ends for St Lomans. Forward line is doing well, backs are still vulnerable.

The Downs beat St Mary's last year in TEG Cusack Park by 1-17 to 0-12, scoring 1-16 from play. I expect Kilmacud Crokes to hammer St Marys. Paul Mannion back at Centre Half Forward. Shane Walsh and Shane Cunningham are in form.

Kilmacud Crokes v Naas final, with Kilmacud to go on and win both the Leinster and All-Ireland Club Finals

Any updates on club football managers ?
I see Gary Dolan is back at the helm at Garrycastle.
Any other rumours doing the rounds ? Lots of vacancies as we know.
I see other counties refer to this as the management merry go round !

Well done Lomans on keeping the cocky boys of Longford club football quiet for a while.
They were sure of getting to a Leinster final once Crokes were on the other side of the draw.
They didn't even get out of their beds yesterday lol

Why would Naas not have a chance?
I think this game will be a good tight game.

Anyword on Minor or u20 set up for 2024?, last years u16s seemed to be impressive going by results but very hard to look too much into it as them cups can have a mixture of teams. U20s were good last year and kinnegad were strong u19 this year so maybe there lads will be the backbone of the team. Lomans did well to make u19 final, Moate strong, Caulry and tubberclare are pretty decent to.
