Seriously? Not even a link to throw a fiver towards to watch it? (That isn't a dodge link! )

Huge game for Leitrim football today. We need a huge performance from the 20 lads that see action today because London especially with the confidence of the league win earlier in the year will throw everything at us and will be full of belief. Losing would be a huge blow for this team and management and might be hard to recover from as they 2013 team and management found out. Keith Beirne is a monumental loss but he's gone now and the other lads will have to step up there is no other option , I believe that Ryan O' Rourke and Darragh Rooney and capable of adding more scores and Mark Plunkett is capable of more scores but they need to score more today in Keith's absence. Shane Moran is named at 14 so we may be more direct today and if Shane is on form he's a handful and will cause trouble to London. No Tom Prior weakens our bench but we've still got Jack the 2 Cullen lads Evan and Emlyn to name a few so we have options need a big impact from bench today. Our defence needs to tighten up was too open down the centre during the league and in ballyhaunis the big London lad Gallagher made hay so we need to nullify him and Gavaghan today they their go to guys for scoring. If we had Keith Beirne I think we would win a tight game but without him I wonder will we get enough scores especially if London get a few goals which they more than capable of. This is a big test for this team and Andy Moran and management we need a win of any sort , defeat would set us back years. Best of luck lads.

A bit too close to comfort for Leitrim. Have my doubts if Leitrim have improved under Moran at all.

Without their best player, worth probably eight points plus to us. We did alright

Just about got over the line.... we'll be going no further in the Championship that's for sure anyhow. We might get a decent draw in the Tailteann Cup but I wouldn't be hopeful of beating too many in that competition either. 2023 is where it's at now. I think we've gone backwards under Moran but promotion next year is now the goal. No excuses. It would be great to head to New York with that under the belt.

Great to get the win indeed. We should be beating London all day long with or without Beirne.
I tell you, you will need more than a drink when Mayo or Galway are finished dismantling us.

Good to get the win but made very hard work of it. Seem to lack the ruthlessness to kill off a game when on top and our backs are conceding too much. Daunting prospect the next day whoever comes through.

Don't think New York is on after his year..give Moran a chance..giving young lads a chaise ..of Beirne was there it would have been a 8-10 point game

I don't know how lads are saying we've gone backwards under Moran. We went 5 points up and 8 points in the second half, closing out games when we're ahead is our problem. We were never behind today either and lead from start to finish.

Pessimistic much? We got over the line by the skin of our teeth when we should have been able to close it out from the 60th. minute. That will require analysis and correction. Will we progress further ? Unlikely.
To say we've regressed under Moran isn't exactly factual. We won 4 league games, losing to a smarter, more battle-hardened Cavan in the opener before coughing up the points against today's opponents.
At full strength and with a little tweaking to the full back line we have the players to give the Tailteann Cup,a rattle.
What harm can it do, the lads are doing their best, it's encouragement they need not punishment.

We bet 3 of the weakest teams in the division & Tipperary, which in fairness was a highlight of the campaign. Lets not get ahead of ourselves. This year has been a failure. I like many was expecting promotion and that clearly has not been delivered. A lot of money has been put into this management team and like I said, there will be no excuses in 2023 if promotion is not delivered.

There's an old saying that expectations frequently exceed realisations. Clearly true in your case.
You were expecting promotion - in a group boasting 2 provincial champions from 2 years ago….
You might be somewhat of an optimist. The concession of the points in Bekan derailed the promotion charge.
I'm in agreement that we should be getting out of D4 next year but in the meantime let's see what the early summer brings apart from swallows and cuckoos. Ar agaidh le ceile…..

It was a reasonable expectation which was proven true after beating Tipperary. Unfortunately for whatever reason, we couldn't see it out having already put the hard yards in.

In a county where there is really only one sport to concentrate on, we should be achieving beyond where we are at the moment given the players we have to hand. Promotion should not have been beyond our ambition this year. Limerick, a team we beat away in the 2019 campaign, are now on their way to Division 2. Antrim, a team who we've also campaigned against in Division 4 for many a year, have maintained Division 3 football for the second season in a row. There was only a kick of a ball in that game last year too.

You forgot about Louth there also. A team we hammered in the championship not so long ago up in div 2

And then we see the tired old clichés in the paper from the aftermath of the u20 game about the opposition being ahead in development and bridging the gap etc. It's the same old story
