Replying To Towny10:  "Think we need a top manager to come in and blood some younger players. Been reading on the forum about some names being mentioned within the county but realistically there is nobody with the experience to step up and do the job. Think this is a massive moment for the team and if the right man isn't appointed we'll be back to square one. Regarding the league I think that playing Div 1 or 2 won't make much of a difference as we can see with 5 teams from Div 2 still in the running. Watched Meath v Kerry and when you really have a crack at these big teams and move the ball quickly you're in with a shot. Never really felt the rossie's believed they could beat a Div 1 team and the way they played with the slow build up I'm sure teams in Div 3 and 4 would have given us a good crack. There is talent in the county but the manager has to be top class."
What is important is to bring in a top quality management team as much as a top quality manager. I believe there are a few people who could step into the role if there were surrounded by the right setup. I wouldn't agree with some of the mentioned managers. People i would like to see involved in the management setup but not as a manager would be Niall Daly, Dara Bruen, Seamus Heneghan, Liam McNeill, Ross Shannon, Frankie Dolan, Seanie Mcdermott who all know the club and county scene very well and who are well regarded by the players. I'm sure there are others who should be considered but it's crucial to get the best people locally involved. One thing is certain is changes are needed.

Replying To endgame:  "Tyrone are hard to beat at underage. Sunday will be no different. The closest we came to Tyrone at underage was a 2 point loss to them in the All Ireland minor semi final played in Croke Park in 2013. Roscommon also missed a penalty that day. That was Fergie O'Donnell's team who were not Connacht Minor champions in 2013 unlike our team on Sunday. Best of luck to players and management heading to Breffni Park. Roscommon missed a lot of chances in the quarter final there against Louth. We'll need to be far more clinical against Tyrone to have a chance of beating them."
I'd be confident that the minors will be there or there about in this game. I was hugely impressed with there pressing in the Louth game. We do need to be getting our frees, finishing off some of the great chances we had. Our team are as talented as bunch as I've seen and have nothing to fear in Tyrone. Each game a different player as emerged to star, good luck lads.

Weather changing for the worst tomorrow hopefully a good rossie support travels to Cavan tomorrow. Our toughest challenge so far in unbeaten campaign and one our young lads will be embracing.

Best of luck to all the Roscommon U17s and management in Breffni Park tomorrow afternoon.

Some strange results and player selections alright last night.
Clan edged Faithleachs.
Ros Gaels easily beat Westie Gaels
Brigids losing by the minimum to Boyle
Strokestown a tad surprisingly beating Oran
Doms accounting for Castlerea with an unusually high points tally ( 29 points scored, a lot of two pointers )
Pearses handed points by Glaveys which isn't the best look for the competition.
For me it's Ros Gaels to win.
Relegation: Glaveys and Faithleachs, Doms to stay up through play off.

Roscommon Gaels currently 3rd in the table with a game to play. It's looking like a Pearses v Brigids final.

Glaveys,Faithleachs confirmed relegated. With that defeat to dominic's Castlerea look to be heading towards the play off for Div 1 status for 2026 and will be a match against Elphin or Eire OG In div 2.

Top scorers for Boyle last night Cian McKeon 0-7,Enda Smith 2-0,Donie Smith 0-5. Daire Cregg didn't play on his travels I believe. For Brigids Bobby Nugent 0-9 Ben O'Carroll 1-5,Conor Hand 0-3
