U20s out on Saturday evening for a challenge against Cork. Not sure if they have had any matches prior to this. Squad should be decent.

They've played a number of challenges recently. Beat Dublin as far as I know; played Kerry in Limerick last week - either won or lost by 5, couldn't establish which.

If none of injured players are available this weekend there probably won't be many changes eoghan Kelly struggling badly unless put Mulkerrins corner back and play either Heaney or sweeney wing back and put other wing forward ,, , surely it's time to play Rory Cunningham from the start and hopefully if galway need bring on forwards

Same team that started vs Roscommon except I can see Heaney coming in for either O'Curraoin or O'Conghaile.

As said by Suckvalleypaddy above we are not scoring enough. Look back at last year and it was 10-11 points in many games. The problems is style of play and the players afraid to pop it over from positions that Joyce would have scored in his sleep, instead they turn back, recycle it and it comes to nothing. At least the two young lads are kicking at the posts but as for the rest of them the laboured style has impacted on their natural forward play. I doubt it will change until a new management team comes in but I still hope they can turn it around.

said it once and i will say it again, we do not have good enough forwards
we rely too much on midfielders and wing backs to get scores

Sean Kelly back on the bench for the Tyrone game. Bit of a surprise.

I know Galway are not playing well so far, but if they could somehow manage to win in Omagh that would put us 1pt off 2nd place (expecting Kerry to beat Mayo) then next two games Monaghan away Derry home.
It's live Sunday on TG4.

That's a pretty balanced team. Full forward line looks exciting. Will be a big test for Fitzgerald and Mulkerrins as Tyrone very strong in full forward line but if they do ok it will be another step forward in building strong options.

Do not understand why would any team select 5 midfielders in the subs.

Does anyone know when the first club Junior C matches kick off in Galway this spring?

If following the same pattern as the senior stuff, I'm guessing April 27/28. Are ya going back playing a bit?

PJ's selection strategy for this one seems to be to select the team that started the 2022 all-ireland final, in so far as that is possible. Gleeson, half back line, Conroy, Heaney, Tierney and Finnerty all back in 'position'. Just need to get the other 7 back in action now.

Should be a handy game for Fitzgerald and Mulkerrin. Sure, aren't the two Canavans still on the raz after winning the Sigerson.. Has to be Galway by 3 points.

If the ground stays soft it'll suit me!
