Is it time for Joyce to move on? Doesn't appear to have the support of most of the senior squad members nor the supporter base. Bad choice by the County Board, resign and move on.

There is not a word on it. If this was hurling it would be a full fledged crisis and galway bay fm would be all over it. When it's football they don't care and the football correspondence doesn't highlight the issues that are at play. Time to make a call on this. We are so far behind other countries in our set up structures etc.

Money is not at the root of all of our problems. Goodwill and a genuine commitment to improve things will go along way. There are many people willing to help out in some small way. A call to arms would be a starting point

So kerry manager had the support of the players but CB got rid

Galway manager had people leave the panel and ----------and our CB keep him.

In the same years Kerry were responsible for our worst beating in over 100 years

Another weekend of club football is underway & not a single mention on any of the "official" Galway GAA social media pages.

No updates, not even results for any senior or intermediate club football games from yesterday. No doubt, today will be no different.

There has been nothing posted on the Facebook page since September 25th, while the Twitter page had zero updates aswell.

They're a waste of time.

Some big results over the weekend in Senior and Intermediate. Killannin edged out James' to take the quarter final spot behind Tuam.
Annaghdown and Claregalway had a straight shootout for 2nd in their group. A draw being enough for Annaghdown to get through on scoring difference. Claregalway will be kicking themselves. They had a brilliant chance to win the match at the end. Even picking it up and tapping it over would have done it.
Milltown beat Michael's to take 2nd in the other group, while the mixed bag group has given us Corofin and Oughterard.
Barna will he disappointed to be in the relegation battle after losing to Salthill. The unfairness of that group structure has been mentioned before, but it's worth highlighting again.

He's a hell of an athlete to be able to play 2 sports very well. Good for him.

I can't understand for the life of me how scoring difference is a fair way to decide placings in a group when all the teams didn't play against each other. Its a joke tbh.
Salthill have survived relegation because basically they didn't have to play corofin.
Caherlistrane and salthill both finished on 2 pts but yet Caherlistrane are now in relegation although they beat salthill, but caherlistrane had to play corofin which pit a big dent in their scoring difference.
Are these rules and regulations even legal????

it's mad and only way it might get through is the club getting relegated probably won't come from that group.

Still no word on the set up for next year. If it was hurling galway bay would be all over it. As its football not a word. The promotion of the game in the county is shocking. So far behind its shocking. I would love someone to put out an expression of interest for anyone interested in helping out in improving the structure status etc of football in the county to come together and take it from there. It's a closed shop otherwise. If PJ is back lets see what changes he is bringing and get behind him. James Horan is doing a piece in mayo where he will answer questions on the season past based on questions submitted. A brave and transparent thing to do. It will bring people with you.

You would wonder what the CB are waiting for to ratify PJ for year 3. There must be some stumbling block that we don't know about. Once ratified do the club delegates vote similar to Meath?

Leave it until the last minute so nothing can be done and complaints can be ignored. No time to find a suitable replacement

That's it in a nutshell. They think good club people around the county aren't aware of their tactics. Our County Board are devoid of ideas and a strategy, and are simply running this once proud footballing county into the ground. A disgrace. Move on - you've had your time and more - please move on.
