He might have opted out of the Tommy Murphy Cup and decided to take a bit of a break but the man from Waterville is still keeping a keen eye on proceedings within the county senior football scene and has said that he will attend the TMC games that Wicklow are involved in. There has been no word as yet as to Micko's plans once the TMC has finished but his behaviour of late does not strike too many observers as being that of a man that has ended this association with the Garden County side. It seems that he brought a fairly full notebook with him back to Kerry after watching recent championship games and he might well have been able to enter the names of a few unknown players to him that might have caught his eye and might be worth observing for the next season.
