Thomas Walsh has indicated that there is no truth whatsoever in rumours that he is halfway to America already to play football there for the summer despite not being able to turn our for Bray Emmets against Kiltegan last weekend. "I am not going to America," Walsh said. "I have a sore leg that is why I was not playing against Kiltegan simple as that." Perhaps what sparked off the rumours the most was a sense of uncertainly coming from the Bray camp with regard to the status of the player. Liam McGaynor the Bray manager said he had heard the rumour but that the reason why the Carlow man did not play on Saturday evening was that 'he had a bit of an injury' and according to the manager 'that is the only reason that he didn't play.'
