Our Junior A team had a good win over Kiltegan 0-11 to 1-7 in the league on Tues away which could be very crucial at the end of the league campaign. Scorers were Troy Francis & Ronan Doyle 0-3 each, Gerry Phibbs & Eddie Boylan 0-2 each, Eoin Devlin 0-1. They lads lost to Valleymount on Sunday at home 0-12 to 1-7. Scorers were Troy Francis 0-6, Thomas Fisher 1-0 and Eddie Boylan 0-1. Best of luck to the lads who play Ballinacor on Sat at 4.30pm in Greystones.
Our Ladies were beaten well by a very strong Valleymount team at home in the champ. The girls then went on to play Bray in Roundwood on Sunday but unfortunately were beaten. Our U16's had a great win over St Kevin's on Monday night. Scorers were Johnny Kelly 4-1, Conor Devlin 2-4, David Boothman 2-1, Declan McEnroy & Kyle Geraghty 1-0 each, Mikey O Connor & Thomas Donohoe 0-2 each, Daragh Ryan 0-1.
The lads play Michael Dwyer's on Mon 16th at 7pm in Knockanna.
Our Allen Cup team had a big win over St.Kevin's on Wed night 11-17 to 3-2. The lads then played St Nicholas by 4pts a great 2nd half display by all the lads which they can build on. Scorers Martin Shannon 3-2, Jordan Walsh 0-6,Patrick O Connor 0-2,Ronan Corcoran & Ronan O Malley 0-1 each. They lads play Michael Dwyer's at home Wed night and then play Carnew in their last match. Our U12 hosted the blitz on Monday night. They hosted teams from Kilbride, Donard & Valleymount. Some great matches on the night and some very close. Thanks to our young whistlers Eoin Devlin & Dean Mc Garr who were on hand to make sure all rules were adhered to.
Our 2009 U14's had a great win in the South West semi final. They beat St.Kevin's 7-16 to 2-2. Scorers were Conor Devlin 2-4, Ian Richardson 1-5, Johnny Kelly 2-2, Jordan Nolan 1-2, Thomas Donohoe 1-1, Declan Mc Enroy 0-2. They now play Michael Dwyer's on fri night 20th in Hollywood. Our Minors had a good win on Wed night against Michael Dwyer's in Stratford. 4-15 to 2-6. The score didn't reflect the game the lads had to fight very hard throughout the match for the win. Scorers were Mark Keogh 1-7, Conor Devlin 2-1, Kyle Geraghty 0-4, Govenor 1-0, Eoin Devlin 0-2 and Dean McGarr 0-1.They lads have no match this week and just have Carnew left to play.
