DONARD/GLEN FOOTBALL NOTES
Our senior's went to Annacurra on Tuesday last and brought home full points in a trilling game of football.
Trainer Nick O'Neill made a few changes from the championship team and it seemed to upset the whole rhythm of the team. The locals scored 2 goals and a point before our lads got going. When they started to score they were unbelievable. No less than nine players got in on the scoring act. Although we conceded 3 - 7 our total of 2 - 13 was by far their biggest score this year.

Our juniors lost at home to Hollywood on Thursday night. This team has improved in the last couple of weeks and gave the Table Toppers a bit of a fright.

The Annual Golf Classic had a good turn out in Baltinglass on Friday last. It always rains for this event so nobody seemed to mind when the dark clouds settled over the course.
Dermot Doyle's team won the golfers section and Larry Daly's team were runners up. Stephen Carass's team won the non golfers section with Alan Kennedy's team runners up. Tweet
