Newtown senior team was knocked out of the '125 Cup' in the semi-final by Baltinglass in Aughrim last Saturday evening. Final score was 1-05 to 0-12. Wishing the U8's a great day in Croke Park this Thursday. A sponsored walk for the juvenile section of the club will take place on Saturday 11th of July. A wreath laying ceremony to commemorate deceased members of Newtown GAA took place in Kilmurray cemetary after 11.30 mass on Sunday morning. Fr. Sean Smith was on hand to lead the short prayer service and then Shay Power and Robert Nolan laid the wreaths. This ceremony was very well attended by members of the club. The monthly committee meeting will take place on Tuesday 7th of July in the clubhouse at 8pm. Lotto jackpot has hit the Ä9,000 mark, so have a go. Tweet
