Secretary hopeful of Fermanagh win
June 26, 2009
Wicklow county secretary Michael Murphy believes the Garden County can account for Fermanagh in their first-round Qualifier.
The Leinster county has home advantage against last year's Ulster finalists, but will be without injured trio Paddy Dalton, Damien Power and Alan Byrne for the July 4 Aughrim clash.
Both teams have had a win and a defeat so far in this year's championship, but one of them will bow out of contention next weekend. Murphy is confident it won't be Micko's men:
"It is going to be a hard-fought game without doubt. Fermanagh are a good team.
"But I do not see Wicklow as a team not being able to do it. A win is something obtainable."
