Well its championship time again as the lads take on Kilcoole in the opening round in Arklow this Saturday evening. The lads have had a tough time of late, losing by two points against Aughrim last weekend, but hopefully can do the business and get the championship off to a good start. All support appreciated. Tickets (Ä100 each) for the Wicklow County Development draw are now available (Ä145,000 in prize-money, cars, holidays etc.), with anyone interested asked to contact Pat Carthy or anyone on the executive committee. The more tickets the club sells the more money the club receives from the County Board. There was no lotto jackpot winner for the draw held June 8th, with the numbers drawn being 5,6,11,23. Match three winners were Kieran, Kevin & Paddy; Niamh Doyle, Catherine Stapleton, Liam Geraghty, and Judie Fleming. In terms of the lotto rota, Billy, Ann W, Winnie, Padraig, Larry and Rory are in charge until 29th June (inclusive) handing over the reigns to Pat C, Mairead B, Aisling, Mick, John H, and Micheal on July 6th - July 27th (inclusive). Finally, Tara Kenny raised a whopping Ä1912.20 for Down Syndrome Ireland and would like to thank everybody for their support.
