Keane wary of Wicklow

Tyrone's Peter Donnelly tackles Westmeath's John Keane during the NFL at Cusack Park Mullingar.
Westmeath All-Star and captain John Keane is refusing to underestimate Wicklow ahead of Sunday's Leinster SFC quarter-final.
Despite their disastrous league form which saw them relegated from Division 1 after failing to register a single win, Tomas O Flatharta's men are hot favourites to progress to a semi-final meeting with Dublin, but Keane insists they are taking nothing for granted.
"Sometimes it's the hardest game (the first round). Wicklow have a championship match under their belts against Longford and will be ready to go, but we have to ensure we're ready, too," he said.
"I think our panel is strong enough to get a good result against Wicklow but it's going to be tough. We've worked very hard since the league campaign finished and I think our players will be in good form this weekend."
The Rosemount clubman is urging Westmeath supporters to make the short trip to Tullamore to cheer on the team.
"The Westmeath crowd have been fantastic with us in recent years and hopefully they travel in their numbers again at the weekend. It's not a long journey so I think a good few will attend. I think the presence of a good Westmeath crowd will be a massive boost to the players, it certainly makes a difference."
"The supporters have been great to stick with us during a troublesome league campaign and I hope we have a great crowd in Tullamore on Sunday to give us a lift," he added.
Meanwhile, Dessie Dolan - who is a major doubt with knee ligament damage - has dismissed suggestions that O'Connor Park is practically a home venue for the Lake County.
"To be honest with you, not too many of our players have played at O'Connor Park on a regular basis. We played Offaly there in last year's championship, but I don't think championship football comes down to the venue. It's down to which team wants it most and who performs better on the day. It's going to be a tough game for us, but we've every chance of reaching the semi-finals and hopefully we can do it this weekend," the former All-Star attacker said.
