Donard/Glen club notes

Our division 4 team were the only ones in action last week. Once again with the majority possession they got the minority of the scores. The locals - Kiltegan led at the break by two points and went 4 points up ten minutes from time. Then Ed Flynn banged in a goal and it was game on. They played their best football in the last seven minutes but could not score the equalizing point. The locals won by the minimum score, one point. Team and scorers were Dermot Doyle, Joe Mills, Ger Reddin, Kevin Osborne, Bill Flynn, Murt Halloran, Alan Tutty, John Hanbidge, Pat Flynn (2 points), Luke Flynn ( 1 point), Ed Flynn ( 1 Goal),  J.P.Clarke, Gavin Walshe, (1 point), Ger Halloran, Stephen Kras, Subs. N. Whelan and B. Coyne. The parish U 12 team had a good win over St. Pats in the All County League. The top four teams qualify for the championship in this grade.
