Scór Concert Postponed

St Joseph's Scór competitors were due to hold a charity concert on Friday 28th April in the Community centre at 9.00pm. The Concert was to raise funds for the First Light Charity and to help allay costs for the forthcoming All Ireland Final. Unfortunately the concert has been postponed, please spread the word as this was a concert not to be missed, performers on the night were going to be from St Joseph's Junior and Senior Scór Acts, Moate All Whites, The Downs and many others. Further word on the concert will be available in the next coming days.

St Joseph's Ladies

Unlucky

On Sunday morning last 23rd April, Our Ladies were defeated in a tough contested game where everyone gave it their all. The outstanding performance of the ladies was not reflected in the Final score line of 3:10 to 6:7. Hard Luck to all involved!

St Joseph's Senior Men:

Another League Win

St Joseph's made it two wins on the bounce with a narrow 2-13 to 2-12 win over Multyfarnham at the Community Field on Saturday 22nd April. We got off to the worst possible start conceding two goals inside the opening 10 minutes but did claw back the deficit to trail by 1-6 to 2-4 at half time with the goal coming from Andrew Mc Cormack. Two points at the start of the second half from Niall Moran put St Joseph's ahead but it was tit for tat over the next 15 minutes with the lead switching a number of times. St Josephs looked in bother with just over 10 minutes of normal time remaining being three points down at 2-10 to 1-10 but a fine goal from Aaron McDonnell levelled matters and St Josephs scored the next three points to lead by 2-13 to 2-10 with normal time almost up. Two points in added time of which there was seven minutes saw Multyfarnham set up a tense finish but St Joseph's held on for a useful win and two league points which keeps us in the hunt for a promotion spot.
