Ballygunner will have to be at their best if they are to progress in the Munster club SHC as they face a confident Cratloe side on Sunday.

Walsh Park is the venue for the clash as the Clare double winning champions, senior hurling and football, come to town.

The Gunners strolled to this year's county title with a comfortable win over Mount Sion, while Cratloe had an equally impressive win over Crusheen in the Clare county final.

Five years ago, the sides met in the Munster club championship and it was Ballygunner that came out on top on that occasion.

However, this is a far more experienced Cratloe side and momentum is high in the camp following their historic double.

Ballygunner must cut out a number of threats in the Cratloe forward line and hope that all their forwards chip in with scores, but the Clare side may just shade this one.
