There was plenty of hurling action this afternoon as the Leinster SHC, Christy Ring, Nicky Rackard and Lory Meagher Cups continued.

The weather had certainly taken a nose dive for the worst as heavy rain throughout the night and early morning left conditions slippery to say the least.

In total, there were eight games down for decision this afternoon as the championship season kicked up a notch.

Round two of the Leinster SHC round robin series was the main attraction of the day and was our focus of attention.
