GAA to march in New York parade

Some 400 New York GAA representatives will join the St Patricks Day parade in New York

Next Monday promises to be one of the biggest days in New York GAA's recent history as the organisation is set to march in the NYC St Patrick's Day Parade for the first time in over 70 years.

The parade committee are honouring New York GAA to mark their centenary year, 1914 to 2014.

As a result, some 400 New York GAA representatives will join the 150,000 strong marching groups and bands along 5th Avenue on Monday.
