Harlesden Harps will play their next game in the AIB Division 2 League this Tuesday 17th of May against Moindearg. Throw in for the game is at 7:15pm. In order to have a proper warm up and preperation, aim to get to Wormwood Scrubs (W12 0DF) in plenty of time. Nearest tube station: East Acton (Central Line). Let's hope the winning run can be kept up!

 

The opening reserve league game for Harlesden Harps scheduled against Parnells recently had to be postponed. It has been rescheduled for 7:15pm Tuesday 24th May at Northwick Park (HA0 3TQ).

 

Next Matches:

Harlesden Harps will contest for the first silverware of the new season with the rearranged Murphy Cup final taking place this coming Sunday 22nd of May against St Josephs. Throw in for the game is at 2:30pm, with extra time if required. In order to have a proper warm up and preparation, aim to get to Tottenhall (W1T 1BX) in plenty of time. Let's put in a big performance and start filling the trophy cabinet!

 

Previous Match:

The team played CuChulainns last Saturday in a close fought game in the AIB Division 2 League. With some fine football being played by both sides and never much separating each it took a late burst from the Harps to get over the line, Harps 3-10 CuChulainns 1-10. Darren Lynch was top scorer with 1-02, with Ben O Mahony and Mossy O Donovan getting the other majors.

 

Reserve Team:

After a break of a number of years Harlesden Harps will proudly enter a team in Reserve football competitions for 2016. This will allow a greater involvement for more players and makes it an exciting time for the club.

The teams first competitive fixture is this coming Sunday 22nd of May against Éire Óg in the AIB Reserve Football League. Throw in for the game is at 12:00pm. In order to have a proper warm up and preparation, aim to get to Tottenhall (W1T 1BX) in plenty of time. Let's hope for a big turnout and a winning start to the competition for the team.

 

Training:

For current players training continues every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:45pm in The Shamrock Club, 307A Horn Lane, Acton, W3 0BP (nearest tube station: North Acton on the Central Line). New players are always welcome to this well run club which if needed can offer jobs, accommodation and a social life to their members. Transport to and from training and pick up from local stations can also be arranged. Any new players wishing to "play a bit a ball" are very welcome to come along.
