MENS FOOTBALL NOTES

The footballers were due to play Tir Chonail Gaels on Sunday in their final league game, this was conceded by Tir Chonail Gaels. They now await the final fixtures to be played out as we hope to make the semi final.

MENS HURLING NOTES

Training continues Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm in Goodmayes.

The hurlers beat Liverpool Wolfe Tones 2-10 to 0-11 in the All Britain quarter final. They will now play Fullen Gaels in the semi final in Birmingham on Saturady the 03rd of October at 4.30pm.

We would welcome your support as the lads bid to reach the final.

 

LADIES NOTES

Ladies training continues in East London Rugby Club, West Ham (E15 3BP) this Tuesday at 7pm and in Goodmayes Pitch on Thursday at 7pm
The ladies competed in the All Ireland Club 7's in Dublin on Saturday 26th. Drawn in a very competitive group they were successful in defeating Portobello of Dublin, achieving a draw game against Devenish St Mary's of Fermanagh and were unfortunate to lose out narrowly to Kilmacud Crokes of Dublin and last year's winners of the Junior competition, St Brigid's of Limerick. Overall a great day of football in Dublin and the ladies can be proud of their display against the established home clubs.

Congratulations to last year's captain Ingrid Laffan on making the Intermediate Final with her club St Ailbes.
