Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes

April 27, 2015

Tir Chonaill Gaels 3-12 St. Kiernan's 2-13
A strong collective second half performance from the Gaels seen the team overhaul a halftime deficit of five points
to overcome the Kiernan's at by a margin of two points at Greenford on Sunday. There were good performances throughout with John McGrath in goals, all defenders playing well, Marty McCoy in particular. Midfield was solid and upfront Ashley Carr, Brian Duddy and Cathal Magee all had good games with man of the match Liam Gavigan kicking five points from play. An inspiring talk from the Three Wise Men at halftime who got together to make the necessary tactical changes to get over the line. Injured London county players Eoin O'Neill and Aaron Bradley made appearances making themselves eligible for the Connaught Championship game against Roscommon in a few weeks. Finally, a special word of thanks to the line markers for a stellar job on the pitches over the weekend.
