London Youth Committee notes

The next meeting London Youth Committee meeting will take place on Monday the 20th of April at 8 30pm at The Emerald GAA Grounds at Ruislip and meetings will continue to be on the third Monday of every month. We would like to have representatives from all clubs around London at our Youths meetings to share views and ideas with all London clubs. We work together for the betterment of our future young Gaels.


London Youths Committee would like to wish all clubs and families and friends a very happy blessed, joyful,safe and peaceful Easter.


Provincial Council of Britain Y5 Schools tournament

Llyod Colfer London's CDA run a successful Provincial Council of Britain Y5 Schools tournament last Thursday the 26th of March. In spite of the heavy showers throughout the day there was a great turnout with 12 schools in attendance with 16 teams in total who participated in the tournament.  St Monica's in Southgate,St Raphael's in Yeading, Our Lady of Visitation in Greenford, St Vincent's in Mill Hill, St Augustine's in Fulham, Blessed Dominic in Colindale, St Robert Southwell in Kingsbury, St Dominic Salvio in Reading, St Bernadette's in Kenton, Morden Primary in Modern, Surrey, St Teresa's in Harrow Weald, St John Fisher in Wimbledon. A big thanks to all the teachers/Coaches for travelling with the children, given them the opportunities to learn and demonstrate skills needed in playing Gaelic Football. Thanks to the 4 Referees Hannah Tracey, Eoin Higgins, Aidan O' Callaghan and Paddy Curtin. Thanks to Tir Chonaill Gaels Club for the kind use of their grounds.

NORTH LONDON SHAMROCKS YOUTH PRE SEASON TOURNAMENT 18TH APRIL 2015

Location : NLSY. Tottenhall Recreational grounds. 198 Tottenhall Road. London N13 6DL. (just off A406 at Woodgreen turn off)

 

The London GAA Development Academy for 2015

The London GAA Development Squad have been training well over the last few weeks with 53 young players in the squad at the moment. The coaches are very enthusiastic about this group of players and hope that the numbers at training will remain high over the course of the season.
