Cavan 1-17
Scotland 0-6

Cavan will face Kerry in the All-Ireland JFC final in two weeks' time after chalking up a comfortable victory over Scotland at Granton Road, Edinburgh this evening.

The Leinster champions led from start to finish against the Scots, who were the first team from outside Ireland or England to compete at this stage of the competition. The writing was on the wall for the home side when Cavan opened up a 0-7 to 0-1 lead through points from Packie Leddy, Enda Hessin, Paul Smith, Enda Reilly (three) and Chris Conroy.

Alan Ward was Scotland's only scorer in the opening half as further efforts from Hessin, Paul O'Connor and Tom Hayes eased the visitors into a 0-10 to 0-2 interval lead.

Reilly and Brian McAteer traded scores on the restart before Cavan extended their advantage to 0-13 to 0-4 through points from O'Connor and Hessin. And it was all over bar the shouting when they scored the only goal through Enda Reilly 12 minutes from the end.
