Tara Youths Club Notes

It is with great sadness that we write to inform you of the sad news that Mrs Deirdre Angland, passed away Monday afternoon the 14th of July. Deidre's children are involved in the Tara club. We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and ask you to keep them all in your prayers.

Details of Deirdre's funeral arrangements are as follows:-

Wednesday 23rd July 2014. 7pm received into St Sebastian & Pancras Catholic Church, 22 Hay Lane, Kingsbury NW9 ONG. Funeral Mass, Thursday 24th July 2014 at 12pm with Burial afterwards at Hendon Cemetery, Holders Hill Road, London NW7 1NB. Family flowers only. There will be a collection box at the church should anyone wish to make a donation towards Leukaemia Research at Hammersmith Hospital.


Training Session at John Billam Grounds, Woodcock Hill

Our training for the summer finished last Friday the 18th of July and we will return to training on Friday the 29th of August at 6.30pm. We wish you all a very safe and enjoyable summer holiday.

3rd Annual All Britain Competitions (ABC's) and World Record Attempt
Well done to all at Tara Club both boys and girls who took part in the All Britain Competitions and the World Record Attempt at Tir Chonaill Gaels GAA Grounds, Greenford where both were a massive success.

Tara Summer Camp

Tara summer camp will take place at Kingsbury Town Football Club on the Monday the 28th of July until Friday the 1st of August to finish up the camp with presentations from a very special guest. Camp is open to all clubs for boys and girls aged 4 to 12 years each day starting at 10am till 3pm. £14 per day and family discount apply. Tell your friends to come along and try out the Gaelic football with skills and demonstrations and games throughout the week all with qualified teachers and coaches.



Tara will host a football/camogie day for the girls on the second Saturday 13th of September at TCG Grounds in Greenford more details to follow.

New players are always welcome from all areas - If you live in London or are planning to move to London and wish to join a friendly warm and dedicated GAA club. The Tara's club boast a full complement of teams Men's, Ladies Senior/Junior and the Youth Section cover all age groups U6 up to u18's with a Girls only section catering for U11's to U18's.
