Golf Classic...Our Golf Classic last Friday was a huge success with a large turn out of golfers, many of whom said it was one of the best if not the best Classic they had ever played in with regard to organisation, hospitality and indeed the whole setup. This is a credit to our golf committee who took many meetings and many hours of hard work to secure sponsors, teams and with the organisation of the event itself to this level. The club would like to thank them along with the others who helped out on the day of the Classic.

The winners of the 1st prize in the Classic Al McKenna, Martin McKenna, Sean Mc Kernan and Michael O'Reilly were presented with their prize along with all the other winners at our Golf BBQ on Saturday night.

A list of all prize winners are on our Facebook page along with pictures of all the teams who took part in the Golf Classic. Community Garden - To develop the Community Garden project further we are holding evening sessions for 6 - 8 weeks beginning Thursday 6th July. From 7.30 - 9pm These will particularly suit those who cant attend Tuesday afternoon or saturday mornings. Sessions will include tending raised beds, planting out new salad seedlings , sowing out some seeds for Winter veg & Autumn/Winter bedding colour. Depending on demand we will be organising some craft sessions, eg willow sculpture, mosaic work, pallet up-cycling ... These will be taster sessions as part of the programme to develop a proposed Mens/Hens shed project. Contact 07714145692 for more information
