We're no team of individuals - Morgan

July 19, 2016

Tyrone's Niall Morgan and Cathal McCarron celebrate their Ulster SFC final win over Donegal.

Tyrone goalkeeper Niall Morgan was taken aback when somebody in the Donegal camp referred to the Red Hands as a team of individuals on Sunday.

Mickey Harte's men proved that they are anything but as they produced a strong second-half team display to reclaim the Anglo-Celt Cup for the first time in six years:

"When we were going in at half time we heard someone from the Donegal side shout 'We'll beat this team of individuals'," the Edendork clubman notes in The Irish Daily Star.

"We're no team of individuals. We're a massive team, we're a unit. We go everywhere together, we do everything together. People talk about being over-trained - we can't get enough training. We love it!

"We just love being together, not even on the training side of things. We just love being together as a team, that's what wins you games."
