Tyrone's Mattie Donnelly is set to make himself available to the Ireland squad next month despite his potential involvement in the Ulster club senior football championship.

Donnelly's native Trillick will take on Killyclogher in the Tyrone SFC final on Sunday week, with a win potentially meaning extended provincial club duty for him and his team mates well into the latter part of the year.

However, the Red Hands' centre-forward is happy to make himself available to Ireland manager Joe Kiernan for the November 21st showdown with Australia at Croke Park, having been involved in his country's defeat last year.

"It's a busy time but it's not a bad way to be," Donnelly said in today's The Irish News.
