Tyrone Masters Win Again

August 20, 2015

Tyrone made it two wins out of two in the 2015 Masters series with a good win over Antrim at Corrigan Park, the home of the St Johns club, on Sunday morning. They did not have it all their own way against a rejuvenated Antrim team who have re-entered the competition this year and boasted some ex inter-county players including goalie Sean Mc Greevey, midfielder Stephen Mulvenna and forward Locky Mc Curdy. Antrim made all the early running and went in at half time 2-2 t0 1-4 on top with Tyrones inability to find the posts a feature of the first half. They were however able to turn the tables in the second half and ended up securing the victory 2-12 to 2-5 with some solid defending, patient build up play and well taken scores.
