Tyrone selector Gavin Devlin is facing a proposed eight-week ban following a CCCC probe into the half-time melee in Ballybofey last Sunday.

Tyrone and Donegal are also believed to have received hefty fines arising out of the incident which happened as players and officials made their way off the field during the stormy Ulster SFC preliminary round encounter.

Devlin was captured on video grappling with Donegal defender Eamon McGee. However, it's understood that no Tyrone or Donegal players will face any possible ban.

According to GAA rules, "any type of physical interference with an opposing player or team official" by another official carries a minimum eight-week suspension.

Both Tyrone manager Mickey Harte and his Donegal counterpart Rory Gallagher played down the flare-up, but the CCCC have obviously seen things differently.
