Tyrone official to climb Kilimanjaro in memory of his son

January 21, 2015

The event is in memory of Eoin Donnelly/Cush

Eamonn Cush, secretary of Tyrone club Rock St Patrick's, and his wife lost their son Eoin two days after he underwent heart surgery.

Eamonn is climbing Kilimanjaro in memory of Eoin and running a fundraising night in Gabally community centre on Saturday night.

All money raised on the night will go to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children Belfast

Come along to Galbally Community Centre on Saturday, January 24th to see Conor Grimes and Alan McKee's new production St Mungo's Luganulk.

The show has been getting rave reviews and being touring all over Northern Ireland.

Anyone that has saw these two men before will know they put on a fantastic show. Doors open at 7pm with the show kicking off @ 8pm.

This will be followed by The Flyin Fiddle.

The Flyin' Fiddle from their first night meeting at a session in Duffs Bar Ardboe have played numerous pubs and venues across the north of Ireland.

They have played in some of the top venues in Ireland such as the Hatfield House Belfast, Hagans Bar Dungannon, the Wild Duck Portglenone and Bryson's Bar Magherafelt.

To play on stages which have been graced by artists such as Horslips, Bagatelle, Christy Moore and Cara Dillon is always a talking point for any aspiring musicians and The Flyin' Fiddle have played in venues such as Ardboe Hall, Dungiven St Canic Hall and Bellaghy Parish Hall.

Tickets cost £12.50 and can be bought in the Kings bridge 24 hour Cookstown (between Asda and Otter lodge), Stewarts Music Shop Dungannon, Grimes Shop Donaghmore, Tally's Shop Galbally and Galbally Community Centre.

You will also be able to pay at the door on the night.

All money raised on the night will go to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children Belfast as part of my Kilimanjaro climb in memory of Eoin.

Come along to a night full of laughter and entertainment with the added bonus of helping raise money to look after sick children.
