Tipperary are set to welcome back Cathal Barrrett for Sunday week's Munster SHC final against Waterford.

The Irish Sun is reporting that the reigning Hurler of the Year has recovered from the shoulder injury he sustained on Tipp's training camp in Spain in April, and could be in line for a return at corner back if Paddy Stapleton fails to recover from the groin problem that forced him to retire during the semi-final win over Limerick.

Meanwhile, young dual star Stephen Quirke has been ruled out of Tipperary's Munster MFC final against Kerry on Sunday after picking up a knee injury whilst playing for the minor hurlers in their Munster semi-final win over Clare last Thursday.
