Tipperary's Ian Fahey gets away from Cork's Alan O'Donovan during the Munster MFC semi final at Pairc Ui Chaoimh

Ian Fahey's soccer commitments won't get in the way of Tipperary's All-Ireland U-21 FC semi-final against Dublin next Saturday.

The Premier County are fixed to face Dessie Farrell's side in Tullamore next Saturday (4pm).

It places the man-of-the-match from the Munster final win over Cork in an awkward position as he also plays soccer with Clonmel Celtic who are due to play Sheriff YC in the FAI Junior Cup semi-final at 6.30pm on the same day.

"He's playing football," Tipp selector Mick O'Loughlin revealed to The Irish Independent.

"The agreement was always that, if he hadn't a game at the weekend he was welcome to play soccer, and we stuck by that. Ian will be with us, absolutely."
