Manager Declan Laffan says Loughmore-Castleiney will have to be at their best in Sunday's Tipperary SHC final.

The defending champions will have to see off Mid rivals Thurles Sarsfields if they are to retain the Dan Breen Cup and Laffan knows it's a tough ask:

"I think there is no doubt but that we will have to be at our best if we are to retain the title," he says in The Tipperary Star.

"That's a big ask anytime but when you are meeting your keenest rivals in the final it adds an extra incentive alright."
