Drumcliffe Rosses Point GAA Club Notes

A big thank-you to all the players and parents who attended last Friday Juvenile Awards Night in Rathcormac. It was a fitting celebration for a memorable 12 months in underage football and hurling. Our thanks to Ken Foley and Supermacs for providing the refreshments. A picture gallery from the night is available to view on the club Facebook page.We've a night for the grown-ups this Saturday (6th) with a Fun Table Quiz in Harry's Bar, Rosses Point from 9:30pm. Entry for a table of four costs €40 with all proceeds going to the club. There'll be spot prizes on the night too.

Registration 2016 will take place on Saturday, February 13th, in Oxfield from 10am to 12:45pm. We will also hold a Registration evening in Rosses Point. Date and venue will be confirmed soon.

Do you have old clothes/bed linen etc. which you'd like to recycle? The club is holding a Clothes Collection Day on Saturday Feb 13th from 10am to 2pm as a club fundraiser.
Donate your unwanted items at two collection venues - and we'll do the rest. The collection points are:Rosses Point - Car Park near promenade opposite Harry's Bar
Drumcliffe - Oxfield.

There was no winner of the club's lotto draw for January.
Numbers drawn: 3, 16, 19, 28.Match 3 winner was Sean Carroll.
The Jackpot stands at €5,000 for February.

Save the date: All cycling enthusiasts will be invited to take part in a special Point2Point Cycle tour on May 21st and 22nd this year. Look out for details on our Facebook page about about this exciting community event.
