Killoran seeks improvement

September 23, 2015

Bunninadden manager David Killoran admits that they need an improved performance if they are to see off the challenge of Castleconnor in the IFC semi-final.

A four-point win over Ballymote earned them a place in the last four, but Killoran stated to the Sligo Champion that they need to improve.

"Castleconnor are a decent side, having played them earlier this year. We were up against them already this year and we beat them by four points," said Killoran.

"I wouldn't say that we are fearful of anyone to be quite honest. We have a good panel of lads there. There's a good few younger players coming through too and we have a few with the minor team.

He concluded: "This is my second year as manager, it's good, I'm enjoying it. Football is strong here in Bunninadden and the lads are responding well."
